Working up an appetite for all this should be easy enough – the site is well set for all sorts of hikes in the Usk Valley, the Black Mountains, and Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. There are numerous hiking trails for all skill levels, with stunning vistas of rolling hills, waterfalls, and rugged landscapes. Why not try climbing Sugar Loaf Mountain or the Blorenge and see if you can spot us from the top! A dip in Keeper’s Pond should cool you off after mountain adventures.

What Our Guests Think!
We loved our stay here. The tent is spacious and well equipped, the shower and toilet block was very clean and you have the use of a full sized fridge freezer, kettle and toaster. The only equipment we had to provide was for cooking. The alpacas were absolutely gorgeous and very gentle.
The owners thoughtfully provide you with food for them so it’s up to you how much you want to interact with them. The site is ideally placed for exploring the surrounding area and equally lovely for relaxing with a good book and wildlife for company.
We absolutely loved our stay in this luxurious bell tent. The tent was very spacious with a comfortable double bed, a sofa, bedside tables, and a chest of drawers – plenty of space to bring a camping table inside to play games if the weather is as unpredictable as our stay.
The facilities were spotlessly clean and for your own use – there was even a kettle and toaster which we made good use of. There is electricity by the sink and full-sized fridge where we charged up our phones before our days out! The alpacas are gorgeous and very friendly, almost as friendly as the wonderful hosts. We will definitely be coming back!
The location was exceptional and the cosy cottage was spotless, we really enjoyed the interaction with the Alpacas! Our hosts were great nothing was too much trouble. A very relaxing weekend, we will definitely be returning!
